Are we still undecided on how fracking is environmentally? What does the science say?

I only ask as it will be a bit of a hot potato in Scotland soon, with plenty of potential for humour at politicians expense.

Groundwater contamination would be my biggest worry.

Not just an environmental disaster.

It's a financial scam. A pump and dump scheme.

It depends on how it's done, where it's done nd what the regulations are. It would seem that it's possible to have safe fracking, but not all fracking is safe. As for whether you want to put up a gas plant in the site chosen, that's another issue altogether.
