I don't think I've seen Haydon-Wood yet. Anybody is better than Skinner, though.

Overdue start for WHW. Think he'll add some creativity to the Exeter attack. Rigg looked full of beans last week. Interested to see how much game time he gets.

I used to think the same about that Aussie SH at Exeter. When he went and the current batch stepped in, I realised how wrong I was.
I can't offer an opinion on Van Zyl having hardly seen him. You are probably right (as usual, annoyingly).

I presume he's a really good on field general at 9 because his other attitudes are pretty meh as you say.

Indeed. I’m amazed he’s even starting for a side as good as Sarries.

People ask how Saracens fit all their stars into the salary cap - they've gotta have a dump stat somewhere...

9 isn't the obvious place to start.

If you've got the Ice Man at 10 there's not a lot of point spending big money on a livewire 9 to whip the ball into his hands at speed or snipe on breaks he won't follow. There might be a change in emphasis now there's a changing of the guard.

Im not even discussing a big money 9, van zyl just is bang average. Bracken s better now...but accept xperience lacking.

They were. Not a single part of their game was satisfactory and too many of their players just didnt show up.
Wiilis played well and young Elliott looked pretty sharp.

It’s the first time I’ve ever watched Exe and thought that that they look less than the sum of their parts.
