Way past farcical. Was this a bargaining tactic to get Llanelli and Ospreys back to the table? I struggle to see how we fund 4 regions equally; but I'm not sure how the WRU can implement a 2:2 or a 1:3 model.

Two is the stupidest idea on God's Earth. Three is the best available option: Cardiff RFC, Swansea RFC, Llanelli RFC. The Dragons can become a development side and play in whatever is the top tier of Welsh rugby, only with preferential status for developing players (Sorry Sandy).

At lest none of the teams disappear entirely and we have the option of equalising on the future. I’d prefer er two teams though simply to ensure that we can max the funding and potentially get some success
