For Britol 6 of the starting 15 (Lane, Bate, Ibitoye, Dun, Thacker, Luatua) have all be been out for most of the seaon so far. Heward has only just managed to string a few games together after long stints out and most of the rest are all back up and young - it's only really Grondona, Elizade, Lahiff, and Owen that you'd have as not injury returning and first team.

I think you're looking at from a Bath perspective - a massive squad with salary cap bending properties. Where as Bristol have a small squad and had massive injuries so even our backup players seem like they've been around for years.

No idea about GLoucesters line up to be honest.
