If they're good enough to play at World Cups, why not in between?

Don't get me wrong. I used to be a fan of Prince - on a minor scale (excuse the pun). But I don't imagine any rugby team is about to adopt Kiss as their pre-match, psyche-up theme song any time soon . . .

Your sig's in ancient Greek, right? What does it mean and where are you from? & I presume your nick is a reference to the Jefferson Airplane song? Any reason?

It's Jesus talk. A bit of old testament gobbledygook with which to beat down rational dialogue.

Thanks. I put it through the translator and it came out as something about the word of god. White Rabbit could be a reference to the psychedelic rock song of the 60s, or the original Alice & Wonderland character itself.morepork wrote:It's Jesus talk. Isn’t it John 1:1? The Greek is just an affectation, like a scriptural handlebar moustache.rowan wrote:Thanks. I put it through the translator and it came out as something about the word of god. Re: What are you listening to?
Regrettably the punk movement in New Zealand coincided with my youth and even ensnared a few of my friends, so I got a close-up view of that horror show, attending more than a few gigs and parties. And from what I could see these mixed-up weirdoes didn't even understand punk itself, beyond its obvious anarchistic, anti-establishment dogma. It occurred to me, for instance, that those who advocated disorder should not all dress basically the same, have basically the same weird hairdoes, behave basically the same way, and attempt to pass off basically the same inane racket as a music genre with any artistic merit. In fact, the degree of conformity within that particular community would have made a military general proud!cashead wrote:I suppose your hapless inability to understand punk and its subgenres like hardcore punk and anarcho-punk is hardly a surprise.rowan wrote:Hell, those guys really ought to try drinking decaf
Jog on and listen to your inbred cousin-fucker music and your old, dead Europeans.
