Accuracy let us down there. Those three final passes that didn’t go, the frustration is, it’s pretty much unforced, and nothing to do with Ireland. Still, those aside... and the fuuuuuuuucking lineout thought we weren’t as bad as that scoreline reflects.

Scoreline was a bit harsh but Ireland are a very good team. Very different performance than the Wales one though. Gameplan was good, shape was good, defence was generally good just finishing let us down. Finish even two of those chances and the game is very competitive.

Lineout is still an issue. I'm not convinced it was that good in the autumn either, we just surprised teams eith our speed. Just need to keep working at it which they obviously will have been. Wilson going off probably didnt help either

He was very good all things considered. He'll learn from Stockdales try but even if he had stayed on the inside I don't think he'd have stopper him.

I'd say four as if Hornes intercept goes to Hogg then it's a clear 2 on 1 and very much on. Very frustrating from a Scottish point of view as there were some good things in there.

Ah in fairness, I don’t think that pass from Horne was going anywhere near Hogg!

We all said it before the game, and I’m sure the team knew it, they needed to be extremely clinical today. Completely unlike the Cardiff game, we managed to create a lot, but unfortunately blew nearly all of it. Thems the breaks.

Thought we did better than expected at the breakdown considering all week I’ve been hearing from my Irish family that we wouldn’t get near their ball.
