Indeed- the sketches she wrote were fantastic. Sad day....best of british 'kind' comedy.

Agree totally. Fantastic talent, ahead of her time and got there the hard way. Shocked and saddened to hear this news.
The Reaper is is having far too busy a 2016 and gathering some rare blooms. Time for a break.

Clever and unique .. just herself.
A sad loss. Classic double act with Julie Walters.

She had that very English comedy ability to make the ordinary funny and allow humour and pathos to sit side by side.

Clever and could be surprisingly dark. Hope she's not just remembered for that song. Though that in itself is a piece of genius.

Not my cup of tea, comedy wise, a smile rather than a hearty laugh. However sad to see someone relatively young die. 2016 seems to be a bad year for celebrities of a certain age.

Very funny, very versatile and very talented lady. Her writing was subtle and clever.

Probably why it wasn't my cup of tea! See Prince has worn his last raspberry beret as well now!fivepointer wrote:Very funny, very versatile and very talented lady. Her writing was subtle and clever.
