I put £1 on three home wins this weekend and at the last minute got greedy and decided to plump the odds up a bit by giving England a 5 point handicap. I think I was the only person in England shouting at the television when we decided to boot that last penalty into touch rather than going for goal.

i'm going to stick with my stupid first tryscorer 10p lucky 15s.

My policy this year has been to pick lots of hookers (due to change in the maul rules). Hasn't paid off yet!

For this week my 1st try scorers were/will be
Earls
Nakataki
JJ

so already it is not looking too hopeful!

however some of the odds for Englands last try scorer are very tempting

T'eo (providing faz doesn't start) 20/1
Mako 33/1
and my favourite
Sinkler 50/1

I always include Sinclair in my draft lucky 15s. One day it will pay off!

If Teo starts, Ford will be a good bet. He is a different running threat with a guy that can draw defenders outside him.

Have a big feeling Ford will score a try today. First or last who knows.

Today I have k.read as the last try scorer, I was going to have AWJ just for sentimental reasons but I don't see wales spending much time in the nz half.
Tomorrow it will definetly be LCD again.

I always enjoy all day saturdays and gone for a final blow out on the betting front.
Van der merve 1st try scorer
Fickou 1st try scorer
Genge last try scorer
Singles,doubles,trebles.
Genge is ridiculous odds 60/1 and he is always close to the action at the try line and of course did score the last try(and first) against scotland last year

Ridiculous odds on genge 60/1

I took advantage of the WH offer - 7/2 for May to score a try and England to win. Thank God the max. Bet was £10...

Straight forward win for France tonight and since Penaud is covid struck am going for Marchand as my first try scorer. Tomorrow I can see Italy giving Scotland a bit of a game, especially in the first 1/2 hour, but not maybe enough to win. I have selected Nicotera. I am expecting England also to start off with a bang and can see a forward scoring the 1st try. Going for Genge.
Just to cover myself I am also doing anytime scorers.
Marchand 14/1 5/2
Nicotera 22/1 3/1
Genge 50/1 9/1

Really looking forward to the England games this year which is not something I've felt the last few years. So maybe with this optimistic outlook it will rub off onto my predicted !st try scorers. And I would be really optimistic with a different no 12
Here we go, singles, doubles and trebles
Van der Flier 12/1
Marchand 16/1
Penaud 6/1

I had a couple of quid on Italy to beat France and was very nearly a happy man at 12/1. Still, I put a hedge bet on Italy with the +21 handicap, so at least that's come in.

Good that this thread has reactivated, it's handy for spotlighting moneymaking anomalies.

England v Italy 'even money' handicap now -17 points (or +17 for Italy backers).

Italy now 10/1 against on the outright fixed odds. Laying England on Betfair Exchange @1.11 looks good value for anyone reckoning that we don't have a 90% chance of winning.

Lowe 17/2
Turner 14/1
Steward 12/1

not even sure England will win this one, I thought Italy looked tasty last week

Won on the 5 pt handicap on dublin yesterday, and would still have done so if Barnes and the TV directors had used both eyes on Lowe's try.

Pushed the Scotland handicap out to 12 points to get 7/4.

Absolutely taking Italy at evens with a 20 point start from skybet yesterday afternoon.

Ante-post odds for a Wales win drifting sharply from 6/5 first show to 11/5 now on Betfair, presumably reflecting a lack of confidence within the Cardiff hosts' camp as documented in the meeja. Indeed, they could turn out to be a non-runner (due to going on strike), in which case all bets are off.
