Don't know much about Haouas, Servat is saying he has rom for improvement at the scrum but that he his very fast , he compares him to haymans on this aspect..

Bouthier has been the talk lately, on third division two years ago, second division last year !

Seems very smart...and adaptative
Totally unexperienced though..but it's a gambit

I’m looking for some outrageous Gallic nonsense here Tigs. Fling that pill around. I’m talking Serge Blanco having a cigarette on the bench during a World Cup knockout game.

Don’t let me down.

Whatever happens one thing is sure, e jones has brilliantly motivated the french.

Saying about an already passionate brunch that they won't survive your onslaught is pure folly...it's just giving the missile to be nuked..

Well done Eddy, best french motivateur...

We really need to work hard on that scrum, and how many balls lost in the line out ?

Lots of rooms for improvement, as we have almost blown it again in the second half, that we didn't is a plus, but we were almost suicidal with these line outs losts on the run, and near our line..

in truth we have been crap bar the defence in the second half, I felt like we just thrived on losing the ball for the pleasure to swallow them in our defence.. but of course that's not good enough, and there's no point we can afford to be that crap for the next games...

What is ovious is that they can only get better, and now the road is open

2nd half showed up a few problems alright, ntamack can't kick the ball for territory and bamba concedes possession.

Once the new energy dissipated they weren't great which is ok I'm sure coaches will be working on loads

No, the French performance was far from perfect, but their energy and motivation just about saw them through when England came back into the match in the second half.
Will their be any changes for Sunday's match against Italy? Vakatawa is being worked on by the physios and could be doubtful and the team will be announced Friday so there's not much time for him to be match fit. If he doesn't make it, Arthur Vincent, who came on for him late in the game, will probably be in the starting XV. Otherwise, the same team for me. Even if the French fielded a 3rd XV, they'd still take Italy to the cleaners with some to spare!
