I always thought that if the arm carrying the ball touched down that was enough in that scenario. Many tries scored where the winger is carrying the ball under his arm are assumed to touch the ground even though the arm is still under the ball. Strange decision.

Biggest winning margin against Italy in the whole competition but no doubt our performance will be panned in the English press tomorrow.

I thought the game would go the other way round. Italy to come out all guns blazing for half an hour and then gradually slowing down as Wales turned the screw.

The result and run out was just what we wanted and it will give France something to worry about.

Weird. Like the TMO knew Adams was holding the ball 1cm above the ground for several frames of that video. Surely a case of nothing obviously wrong with the grounding?

Anyhow, job done with no fuss, no worries for the fans. Love the LRZ try where his opposite number doesn't even try to race him, he knows he doesn't have the gas. Shame there was a bit of sloppiness in the second half (although had Adams's not been disallowed, it would have felt better: 28:7 for the half).
