Although it would help Wales in terms of the championship for England to beat France today, I cannot bring myself to wish for that.

So. Good Luck France - hopefully a big bonus point win!

Well, the video ref denied us at the end, was it a try ?

All in all, I'm dispointed of course, but not very surprised by the english resurgence, and some part of me prefers it that way, thak kind of defeat is a good thing two years to go to the WC...

Tigs, any thoughts in France as to why Ntmack and Serin didn't get on? Whilst both Dupont and Jalibert had some wonderful moments I thought that the French kicked really poorly at times (Dulin particularly - worst game I've seen him have) and some control in the last 20 minutes was needed.

Ntamack's only had one match since coming back from injury - last weekend at home to Brive, and from what I've read didn't really shine (which is hardly surprising) and I was a bit surprised that Galthié picked him, although I would have thought he'd have had at least 15 minutes at the end.
As for Serin not being called upon, maybe Galthié was hoping for some Dupont magic to rescue the game?

yes, in indsight it was a mistake to take N'Tamack if it was only to keep him warm.

Bouthier or Ramos would have been more useful as they both can play 10 or 15 and have great boots, Bouthier especially..

This game has been the defeat of Galthié's choices and coaching... It really wasn't going to be a great idea not to use three replacements for this game, especially Jelonch who would have brought some toughness..

I don't know what they were thinking..

They didn't play for a month, the fact they emptied their bank 20 mns from the end could hardly be a surprise...

Well, I hope lessons have been learnt, I wonder if Galthié is humble enough to admit it .

What’s the mood in the French press for the upcoming Wales game? Are you confident of stopping our GS ambitions or is there some slight despondency over the defeat by England?

You’re facing a Wales side with some 1,000 caps and 25 of our squad have been involved in previous GS wins. Indeed AWJ is going for his fourth. Confidence is building.

We seem to have found a defence coach, Gethin Jenkins, who is on a par with Shaun Edwards, his old mentor.

A great game in prospect and a fitting finale to the 6N championship.

Galthie is many things, but he's not often associated with humble.

I thought that, though he's probably modest enough to allow it was within him to be better

As i said, it's à young side on a learning curve, so certainly not as much experience than your guys.

They are frustrated to have lost at the end a game they would have won with a little bit more expérience.

So they want to feed on this experience and repare it as much as they can, so they are just focusing on trying to win the next two games.

They know wales are tough to beat but they are intending to unleash all that they have to manage it.
