Dragons vs Sharks

Post by Sandydragon »

15. Obrien
14. Dyer
13. Tomlinson
12. Dixon
11. Hewitt
10. Reed
9. R Williams
1. Seoul
2. Dee
3. Fairbrother
4. Carter
5. Rowlands (c)
6. Nott
7. Basham
8. Moriarty

Bench:
Roberts, Evans, Coleman, J Davies, Wainwright, L Jones, Clark, J Williams

Reed replaces Hanrahan who picked up a knock in training, but should be returning for round 4. Lets hope Dragons can bring the same intensity they did last week and make it 2 in a row.

Half time and it’s 12-6 to the dragons. Both sides defending well but score a decent reflection of the game so far. Hopefully we don’t lose concentration in the second half.

Bollocks. Dragons were playing well but have away an interception try. Then the Sharks big ball carriers got some domination and despite some great work at the breakdown it wasn’t to be. Narrow one point loss.

That was unlucky - although maybe the regions are learning a lesson from the Saffers - it ain't over until its over. International rugby has shown time and time again that Wales regularly get done at the death - maybe it's because we don't have that will to win mentality that the SH teams have. It might be a good thing to learn to play 81 minutes.

Considering they were playing into the wind in the second half they did very well not to concede more points, I thought the 2nd rows were excellent and Nott, who switched to 6 for that match after playing second row last week, is looking like a very good acquisition, it was a good call to go for him at 6 to bolster the Dragons pack a bit against a big Sharks pack..
