Wonder whether Conbeer might get a chance for Wales in the autumn, I always enjoy watching him play. That said, Keenan Giles is having a great season too so far

Fair play Scarlets, bonus point try early in the second half. Costelow on the loop with a good step and pace to finish. The young man is playing very well

Scarlets look so soft in defence though, Zebre go through the phases and make ground every time, they go about 30 metres and get to the line. Top quality tackle from Scott Williams as a one of the tight forwards tries to drive over, and Conbeer does something similar a few seconds later. Held up, good defence ultimately but the contrast with the first up defence of the Ospreys last night, or Cardiff in the last couple of week, is pretty stark.

TMO on a Lousi tackle, I think the Zebre 10 is dipping and Lousi seems him a little late as he went past Conbeer before getting to him but it’s shoulder to the face, and no arms. Yellow or red ? It’s red. Scarlets down to 14 men for the last 28 minutes, second red for head shots in consecutive weeks. Not cool.

Try Zebre as the heavens open. Absolutely blasting down. This looked nailed on for a big win 2 minutes ago, little bit worrying now.

28-12, Patchell and Morgan Jones on. Also Steff Evans on for Scott Williams, not an obvious substitution.

Good to see Morgan Jones, one of the best of the next generation of locks, don’t think he is Peel’s favourite though judging by his lack of game time.

Owens is off, Elias and Morgan Jones with some quality mail defence from a lineout. Really good turnover to get a scrum.

Brilliant break by Kalamafoni, slips a scoring pass to Hardy who makes the line this time, despite the winger holding on to him.

Oops, TMO has spotted Kalamafoni was part of the ruck before he picked the ball up. Try chalked off, penalty Zebre instead on halfway. Shame, that was a bit of class, but good for the neutral as it would have killed the game.

Zebre still in it, lineout on the 22 with 20 minutes to go.

Really good break by Elias from another ruck, Zebre napping again after the Kalamafoni break a moment ago. Good chance but Patchell tries to chip through, rebounds off defender and Patchell then penalised for holding on. Penalty Scarlets shortly after, turnover penalty won by Conbeer

Scarlets look to have a great chance to wrap it up, but another crap pass from Patchell. Am a big fan of his, but it’s not happening for him right now.

Pressure from Scarlets results in a penalty. They are in the 22 but go for the sticks. Halfpenny was never missing that, 31-12. Was a bit worried after the sending off but Scarlets have handled it well. Not the strongest opponents but this will do their confidence some good. 5 minutes to go and were in the Zebre 22 again

Steff Evans chases a kick through and knocks on with the line in his sights. As with Patchell, a talented player for whom it just isn’t happening.

Kalamafoni seren y gem, decent choice, Conbeer mentioned in dispatches.

And as I type Conbeer gets another try after a sweet chip through by Jon Davies. Came from a second consecutive overthrow at the lineout by Elias, needs to sort that.

Halfpenny to convert from the touch line as the clock goes red, just pulled it. 36-12, 5 tries to 2, a welcome performance and result for the Scarlets in a potential banana skin fixture.

Excellent win for the Scarlets. At the moment any win is good news regardless of the opposition.
