Connacht 36 -vs- 14 Scarlets
That looked to get out of hand fast in the second half.

Yeah, weird one. They were well in the game first half, playing against a really strong breeze, Connacht’s number 8 got sin binned 5-10 minutes into the second half and then the wheels fell off.
Some cheap penalties conceded by the Scarlets didn’t help, and their line out went to pot. I thought they were still just about in it until Patchell missed the straight forward looking 3 pointer with about 12 -15 minutes to go. They should have gone for the corner but probably didn’t due to their lineout woes.
Dan Thomas played pretty well although he conceded a couple of momentum killing penalties and Kalamafoni battled hard before his fairly brainless yellow card. Mcnicholl had a good game in tough conditions and that was a beautiful break for the Scarlets try.
Costelow was going well, and I wouldn’t have taken him off - Patchell could have gone into the centre if they wanted to bring him on.
Little bit of dog shown by Morgan Jones when he came on, and good to see Willgriff John at last but a poor night overall. Credit to Connacht - deserved winners in the end.

The Scarlets defence was poor again, Dan Thomas gave away about 5 penalties and got sin-binned, another two yellow cards ffs, useless, can someone find out what Brad Mooar's up to please.
