France vs ABs
The French team for the ABs:
1. Wardi, 2. Marchand, 3. Atonio, 4. Woki, 5. Flament, 6. Cros, 7. Ollivon, 8. Alldritt, 9. Dupont (cap.), 10. Jalibert, 11. Villière, 12. Moefana, 13. Fickou, 14. Penaud, 15. Ramos
16. Mauvaka, 17. Gros, 18. Aldegheri, 19. Taofifenua, 20. Boudehent, 21. Lucu, 22. Vincent, 23. Jaminet
Can't wait! Allez les Bleus!
Although I'm wondering if there'll wear blue if the ABs wear black. Will there be a toss of the coin to decide what colour jersey they'll wear?

Thought this deserved its own thread.
France's depth is ridiculous. No other nation could just shake off losing Danty and Ntmack.

I think France should also be compelled to play barefoot.
It's only fair.

As an All Blacks supporter, I was not quite sure why it seemed a bit familiar to have this unusual feeling of looking forward hugely to a match that I am convinced we will lose. Then I realised it's the exact feeling you get before our cricket team plays a test against Australia.

I thought that Barrett has been very impressive at 12 when I've seen him, is he carrying a knock or something?Lizard wrote: ↑Wed Sep 06, 2023 11:10 pm As an All Blacks supporter, I was not quite sure why it seemed a bit familiar to have this unusual feeling of looking forward hugely to a match that I am convinced we will lose. Knee. Should be ok by next week apparently. He would definitely have started otherwise.Numbers wrote: ↑Thu Sep 07, 2023 10:30 amI thought that Barrett has been very impressive at 12 when I've seen him, is he carrying a knock or something?Lizard wrote: ↑Wed Sep 06, 2023 11:10 pm As an All Blacks supporter, I was not quite sure why it seemed a bit familiar to have this unusual feeling of looking forward hugely to a match that I am convinced we will lose. Bold scheduling as well. Last time France hosted, they had Argentina in the opening game and got turned over, leading to the next three RWCs having the hosts given one of their easier games to begin with, to guarantee a win (NZ vs Tonga, England vs Fiji, Japan vs Russia). Will be a bit of a dampener if NZ suddenly get their mojo back and France wilt.

Re: France vs ABs
I'm finding this one difficult to call, I think the first 20 will be very important and probably shape the result.
My head says France but I think the AB's could just as easily win this, I'm going to go for an ABs win by less than 7.

Karl Dixon to do his best to ruin the game; but the rugby still finds a way of winning
