Surely the Aussie on the floor forced that knock on?

Talk about playing the ball on the ground! Great kick though

That looks like an all-time terrible decision by Brace. Clearly Australia playing the ball on the ground.

Do wonder what the TMO's are doing at this world cup. Surely should at least be asking the Ref to look at that and give a view on it.

Smart play from the Aussies there but it was clearly an illegal hand in the ruck
It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Totally. I wonder if we see the Sam media
Meltdown about that?

Two more high tackles by Australia. Not even noticed by Brace.

ETA. At least the TMO's paying attention.

Utterly blatant, and not difficult to spot.

Fiji executing a tidy rolling maul. They’ve come a hell of a long way in the last few years and they feel like they have the upper hand here, notwithstanding a dodgy try

Touch judge permitting a line out with the Aussie hooker’s feet not even touching the line. Game’s going to the dogs, I tell ye!

Yeah, I noticed that too. It's come a distance since the scandal of Ibanez daring to have his toes over the touchline, but that was just silly. His heels weren't touching the line!

On the flip side, Matavesi's having a belting game.

Another high tackle by Australia which Brace once again misses and has to be rescued by the touch judge. Still no "quiet word with the captain" like he gave to Fiji.

Australia are going to have to start competing for the line outs, because they can't stop their maul.

You had to suggest it, didn't you? Still, Fiji get another go.

And again, on both counts.

Fiji need to sort this line out out. Will kill them if they don't

Fiji 9 is great off the tee, but his passing is sub-Ben Youngs at times.

This is one of those where the touch judge should be being asked for the price of a ticket to watch the game if they aren't going to get involved.

Less harum scarum from Fiji and a lot
More control. They thoroughly deserve their lead

Deserve a larger one, tbh. They've been dominant enough that they should really have more on the board, not to mention that Australia's try was dodgy as fuck.

Almost England like in the way they were rock solid on their lineout ball until they got to 5 metres out.

Thought it was pretty good when he's got time to wind it up. A couple of great box kicks in there too.
