They are definitely targetting Gordon. Botia hunting a contact with him, only for Valentini to step in as a bodyguard and save him.

Does Valletini ever actually bend his waist to tackle?

Nobody wanted to tackle the try scorer there.

Well reacted.

Australia choosing a lineout instead of a scrum. Nice work Fiji.... and even nicer work! That's what they deserve!

Gordon fuck-up there. I think the physical attention is working - unsurprising for such an inexperienced player. Bet it'd be useful for Australia to have Cooper on the bench right now. Or MHooper to be a calming influence and experienced head.

Absolutely dire under the high ball from the Aussie wings and full back.

Totally agree. I bet Gatland is thinking of how to get North running at him

Aside from interrupting the Fijian lineout and handling on the floor, they aren’t offering much.

Had an okay first 20 but they're absolutely going to pieces under the slightest bit of pressure now.

They're not listening to you...

Can you account for Earl's whereabouts at this time?

Brace appears to have swapped sides. Not that Fiji don't deserve it, but he was definitely listing Australia's way in the first half on the 50:50s and now his arm's pointing the other way.

Gordon given the shepherd's crook on 49 minutes. Eddie's patented man-management at work.

He's obviously putting his imprint on the side. Gormless penalty after gormless penalty being coughed up, coupled with a creaky scrum and no cohesion in the backs.

FFS Fiji just go thru the fwcin hands
It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Absolute butchery. If that was any other side they would be crucified for that.

Should be 25 points up by now.

can understand it to an extent, but they really need some composure and a bit of game management now.

Totally unnecessary offside there.

Aus do not look in great shape physically.

Australia clearly interfered with that ball on the ground to cause that knock on and Brace doesn't see it at all.

Indeed. If Australia pull a try out of somewhere, then suddenly it's a tight game again and the pressure is on. Fiji need to stay calm and stop trying to win the game with each intervention.

And absolutely miserable at protecting their own ruck ball
