Skybet still setting the handicap at +6 for Wales, which seems to be very generous to them, even with home advantage, given the shambles they were in Edinburgh.

I'd be very tempted to take the French to beat Scotland by more than 9 in Paris too.

-9 France v Scotland is quite appealing: prior to their 2021 triumph in Paris (which was quite bizarre IIRC as France could have hoofed the ball out with the clock in the red, but gifted Scotland a last minute try), the Scots haven't won in France since 1999.

Wales are almost 5/2 (3.45 decimal) at Betfair to win tomorrow. I won't back them as an England supporter - but that's tempting odds...

I've gone for Italy to get within 21 a Evens, pushed the England handicap out to 13 to get 7/4 as I think the Welsh are a mess, and will probably back France to beat Scotland by more than 9 tomorrow.

this week sticking with Ramos and Sheehan to be the 1st try scorers, and Dan to be the last try scorer. I won't be mad if England do not win but I will be disappointed.

Skybet doing both teams to score 20+ points, England to win a 4/1. Stuck a fiver on that.

Sticking with the same try scorers this week. Have been on the SRU Web site all day trying to get a ticket for Saturday. Normally can get 1 at last moment.

Ireland to win both halves by 10+ points price boosted to 9/4 seems like a bit of a gift

An interesting observation, but not one that particularly assists my cash flow, is that I appear to have an epic propensity for selecting the 2nd try scorers which I think I managed in every game today!

Menocello, marchand (last try scorer) and Graham. Will probably be lowe but he's such a prick I couldn't bring myself to back him!

The best of my tuppenny-ha'penny bets today is one that requires both MSmith and Sleightholme to score a try (12/1). Rest is mostly hopefulness.

I do also have 33/1 for it to be a draw at halftime and England win at full-time, which has suddenly become a much better flutter...

£9.29 winnings on a £2.50 outlay. Better than my usual return from the bookies.

My bet of the day is an accumulator for Wales, England, and Italy to win. It's 201/1 for a very good reason, but I think there's a better chance than the bookies do - Wales getting a dead cat bounce, at home, annoyed after being written off, and Ireland with injuries, England dear gods I hope, and Italy are building something strong, while France seem like they're on the edge of player revolt and two backs injuries away from learning a lesson about 7:1 benches.

On Betfair, England are odds-on favourites. Scotland over 3/1. Were I Scottish, I'd risk a tenner at those odds.
