We've played more decent rugby so far in this game than the rest of the tournament combined.

Some frustrating bits in there. Lazy placement from Furbank gives an invitation for the Irish turnover and then Mitchell knocks on. Got to look after the ball better in the Irish 22 as it's been a bright start otherwise.

What a huge difference Mitchell has made so far. His passing and kicking superb.

That's a harsh call on Lawrence.

About presenting the right picture, he did look wonky even if he wasn't

Not sure why it took so long, it obvious it was a knock on.

This game must be great for the neutral.. we're doing a lot well, but then not quite executing. Is that a try? I dunno

Stupidity. I don't get the logic - they've been going for drop goals.

It was.

I've no idea why the ref wasn't shown the double hit on Genge who was enraged and could he heard shouting that was on the head.

Yeah, it feels like we got a bit ahead of ourselves there. Get 3, then go again.

We're reverting to type. Why play more attacking rugby and look dangerous for it, to then return to Ford kicking every bit of possession away? So frustrating

Playing out from our own half just saw Ireland get three points.

Murrayfield revisited a bit - accuracy dropping after initial fizz.
Fluffbank 2 in quick succession. :|

You've another haunted robot at 10. Shame because the rest of the team look up for it.

A few sloppy moments have cost us the lead but on the whole thats been a very encouraging half. Nice energy and pace about a lot of what we're doing.

Furbank testing my belief that players should be given a run of 5-10 consecutive games before being judged. At least the performance has improved but going in 4 behind is a pretty woeful result.

Agreed. However it ends up, this has to be the blueprint.
