37 minutes, and we're still in this.
We don't deserve to be, but we are.

Nice.

And I love this ref. He’s definitely the best in the world

How was that not a deliberate knock on by BB om 32 mins? Should have been yellow

Good come back by England. An odd game. Not sure we're forcing errors or of France just haven't turned up. We've been poor on our few turns in their half, lots of goofs all round. Enthralling game though.

Spirited response by the underdogs - a chance to rattle a bit before HT.

Because he's obviously trying to knock it backwards, which he's allowed to do.

Good game, tbh.

We’re fronting up well. Willis makes a huge difference.

The two lost l/os have been disappointing.

7-7. I'll take that. We havent really been in the game and dont look at all composed when in possession.

Bloody hell, they've given themselves a shout. Come on. First score now is key, particularly if it's from the frogs. #cliche

Harsh. I’d agree on the composure piece but we’re absolutely in the game. Yes, France made a few errors, but we’ve also forced quite a few of those.

We SHOULD win this from here. I'd like to see Chessum on for Martin and CCS for Earl (with Curry moving to OS).

Like Freeman going forwards. Less so both wings in defence. France look vulnerable in defence to me.
Lineout not great but scrum is and Tom Curry punching well above his weight; just for jgnf interesting playing left and right flankers on scrums.

Mixed bag from Smith F and Slade- the former taking it running straight is good but over doing the kicking.

Agree with all that.

Would add that the balance of having Willis there makes a huge difference.

I think we have momentum and we are capable of a win. That makes it should but I'll concede your could. :D

I would argue that we've been executing our gameplan well - we're shutting down DuPont, we're rushing France in possession, we're making our tackles, we're fielding the range of kicks easily, and we're content trusting our defence against their multi-phase attack.

Freeman's had a very iffy game, as has Martin. Unconscionable for an international lock forward to let a straightforward lineout go through his hands like he did when we had that attacking position. Curry's been immense, as has Itoje, and TWillis has been playing just like he does for Saracens.

If we can keep this up, then our bench has the potential to turn the match. Chessum will be an improvement on today's Martin, and hopefully we'll get the useful version of CCS this week. Can't say I'm not worried about Randall coming on in this kind of match though.

Given how often France are knocking it on in the red zone I’d stick with ‘SHOUD’.

If we find out that the France players have serious money on an England win I wouldn’t be shocked.

Tbf, I'd swear the rip off MSmith went forward from Bielle-Bierrey, so justice done.
