and if you are going to kick it then get Steward underneath it!

Dickson allowing about 20 seconds a ruck for Spencer at the end sheesh he was awful.

Congratulations Bath.

Pepper and Hill should be on their way to Argentina.

Dickson was rotten, someone needs to explain what an offside line is

Agreed. Pepper's some talent and Hill's just getting better and better. I don't know where Ilione fits into the picture and whether he gets into the Argentina squad, but he's really kicking on this season.

Radwan and OHC played their way out today. The former couldn't impose himself on the game and blotted his copybook with getting humiliated by Pepper's non-try, and the latter needs shooting for losing his composure after his break.

Bit harsh on Radwan re ‘imposing himself on the game’ when you have singled Pollard out for being pony as a distributor. But getting trampled on isn’t a good look.

Perese should certainly have started. JVP wasn’t all that either, two kicks on the full and a bit indecisive. Freddie will be unhappy.

The post match player interviewing is embarrassing.
« Julian, how are you feeling after that defeat? »
Jeez, can’t they do better than that?

Feel sorry for Cole. Absolutely not a yellow, imo, but don’t give the officials the chance, as pointed out by others. Ben Youngs pecs look like they retired about 3 months ago…

Totally agree!

Bath deserve to Champs - as does any team that tops the league.

Also agree it was dull, boring rugby, and the ref was terrible. Seemed determined to make the "Powerhouse Bath not won for 30 yrs" story come true. IMHO Cole - Russel, penalty and nothing else.

Stupid is as stupid does. I feel sorry that that’s his last action on a rugby pitch tho. Deserved better but brought it on himself.

Thought it was an awful decision, milked well by Russell who rolled around until he heard the whistle go for the penalty and then had a miracle recovery. Legitimate charge down attempt, "turning his shoulder" as opposed to leading with his head the reason for the yellow seemingly.

Pepper played right up to the line but Dickson let him get away with everything and he made the most of it. Man of the match.

You would, you are a tigers fan. It was rash at best. I did say it wasn’t straightforward but there was no realistic chance of a charge down so why do it. Whatever your argument look at the end result.

I hesitate to say it, but I didn't even think it was a penalty. Airborne, big lump tries to charge down a kick. He's a bit late. FH gets clattered. Par for the job. Get up and carry on. Not injured. Zero danger.

He turns in to it. You can at least pretend you’re trying to avoid the contact, it’s not like he was remotely close to charging the kick down.

A shame for him, but equally it’s a fucking hilarious way to end his career and many will be tuning in to hear him discuss it.

Got to say I think Chieka should have thrown caution to the wind and got Volavola on at 10 for the final play. He's got weaknesses to his game but attacking ball in hand he's got something about him and would have shown the Bath defence something very different to what Pollard did. Might have also meant we didn't kick the fucking ball away with little chase at the death.

Shame the final to such a thrilling season was tactical kick fest. At least there was a few young English talents doing the business.

Steward (and others) got owned by Muir today. Thought he had a fair shout for MOM actually without doing anything spectacular.
As a neutral, although not free-flowing rugby that was quite stressful enough thank you.

Give the ball to Coka.
Knock on and scrum pen, who do you want taking it on the halfway line/touch line though?

Nah, give it to Coka.
He'll knock on, and Leicester will kick it away badly and uncontested.
Advantage over

There’s safety in the final whistle, even if it’s Dickson’s.
