I am surprised they've gone for Rowland rather than Sing as the replacement for Kildunne. Considered a safer pair of hands if Kildunne's still out by the semi-finals?

More to do with Aitchison coming back.
I like Sing, but she's not had a good few weeks

Ironically, I think last weeks games against Aus might have suited Sing rather than Kildunne with the way Aus kicked.

Looking for a win, obviously, plus forthright and disciplined performance from England today.

Aitchenson is pulling some lovely strings and the Scottish line out has gone to pot.

Still don't understand the Ripper thing for the disallowed try.
Lifters weren't ahead of the catcher, so how can they be offside?

I know it's been explained to me, during the England tour IIRC, when the ball was passed back over the back of the next man in, which I kinda get (but only kinda) - but if that's what happened here, then I need new glasses

Must admit to being confused because how does the 'ripper' stay in contact with the jumper if you've said it was a fair sack and the jumper is on the floor?

Isn’t it about time there was a yellow card in the scrum?

USA v England
Puja gave us the explanation for the ball being passed over... Dombrandt's? Back as removing competition.
It was confusing and technical, and different to this one. Just have to assume that the officials know better than I

Missed the first 60. Seems pretty comprehensive. Anything to know before next week?

Weird last try that, fair play. Some understandable switching off there I suppose.

There was at least one knock on - the one in the tackle was most egregious for me

Edit to add: the non card for the scrum penalties was shocking. I get they want it not to be a walkover but what’s the point of having a ref if they aren’t going to dictate discipline?

Pretty efficient performance in difficult conditions. Conceding a try at the end will irk but there was a fair bit to enjoy.
