RWC 2035

The bidding process for hosting is open and there's already been some expressions of interest. Spain has been making noises about wanting to host 2035 for a while and have even held talks with La Liga about using football stadiums, Italy have made some vague noises about it in the past, and Japan have openly stated they want 2035. Off-piste, there's also been expressed interest as a joint bid from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and UAE.

I'd have to say I'd prefer either Spain or Italy if the numbers add up. Both nations that are growing in the game and have a hell of a lot of potential to grow further. It'll also have been 12 years since France by then, so it's fairer to bring it back to Europe (although it's still a shame that South Africa aren't looking to host again after their last experience of getting stitched up for 2019). Really don't want us to sell out to the oil dollars and have to mess about with the tournament to include hosts who can't qualify on their own and slavery-built air-conditioned stadiums.

I’d like to see it in Argentina, maybe Uruguay co-hosting.
