Re: Tigers Vs Bath - Saturday
Bath going 6:2 with neither Lawrence nor Ojomoh is interesting. Will Butt possibly peeved to be on the bench behind Hennessy.
Tigers with no JvP is a massive blow and realistically kills any chance of a victory at Welford Road. First start for James O'Connor is good but no fit senior loosehead with Loman covering there from the bench is less than ideal, especially given backing Haffar and Archie van der Flier as the back up LHs was supposed to help bench impact which seems to be largely resting on the shoulders of Ilione again.

Good to see Ewan Richards straight back on to the bench after a big performance last week. Hopefully Ewels is back fit soon so he can get back to not playing at all.

Richards a bit hard done by. Every time he plays he looks a good player, yet cannot get a run of games. Odd.
Bath doing a bit of rotation but still looking likely winners.

Where is Bailey too? Stuck behind O’Connor now and maybe even Searle?
JVP looked a bit sore when he came off last week and now not involved. Any word on him?

Not seen anything on JvP other than he's not available due to injury. Bailey might be struggling. He was supposed to start the other week but pulled out with a tight hamstring and didn't look to be running that free off the bench last weekend. Searle has played well so far and JOC had a couple of nice touches Vs Saints off the bench.Captainhaircut wrote: ↑Fri Oct 17, 2025 1:43 pm Where is Bailey too? Well Tigers have started in relegation like form. Don't think Bath have needed to get out of first gear yet.

On the upside Tigers scrum is dominant and the Barbeary is feeling very generous with a free 10m from being an idiot and then an offside penalty both in the Bath 22.

Might have to rethink my “Arundell isn’t a winger” theory.
Can’t help but think where he might be now if he had just signed for Bath instead of that stupid Racing move.

Re: Tigers Vs Bath - Saturday
Would have preferred for Leal to go to the TMO for that forward pass call rather than chalk it off before the ball is touched down. It's a very tight call.
Will Stuart is having a miserable day at scrum time, it's keeping Tigers in the game. Without the scrum Tigers would be further behind.
Bath's attack just looks like it can go 80m score as soon as any tackle is missed.

Leicester v Bath.
In aid of Lewis Moody
With Leicester legends in and around the ground
That's a lot of empty seats

It'll still be the biggest attendance of the weekend for the Prem.Which Tyler wrote: ↑Sat Oct 18, 2025 3:50 pm Leicester v Bath.

Re: Tigers Vs Bath - Saturday
Tigers don't sell out regularly. Normally get between 18-20k. Playoff games are a sellout but otherwise you can get tickets, it just tends to be of lessening quality the more high profile the game.

Nice line by Barbeary but that's a penalty against du Toit all day for blocking Cracknell. TMO has been dipping in to help out today but missed that one.
Seemed like a matter of time until the Bath score in that Bath attack, right until Carreras threw it into touch.

Bath's fresh front row and Heyes being replaced by Hurd has seen an end to the Tigers scrum dominance.

Yellow card at last, third high tackle and second on Searle in that phase of play.

Re: Tigers Vs Bath - Saturday
Appreciated, but if any non-knock put was going to, it was surely this.
And you've done it!
