2 of those penalties given to calouri were terrible decisions

The 1st Flaherty and Reed ones were ridiculous

He dropped the penalty try Flaherty didn't effect that but it was a yellow, he's getting to the pitch of the ball so far in front of the opposition you can't afford to play a short ass like Reed against him

Also a red for saracens 18, it's a terrible effort just because it's low doesn't mean it's ok

That's flat-out not correct, my friend!

At the point the ball bursts through his hands, O'Flaherty's already made solid contact with his legs and is in the process of knocking him over (and in danger of headbutting his nuts!) - it's perfectly reasonable to say that contact stopped him from catching it cleanly.

On a side note, how utterly wild is that screenshot? It's not like O'Flaherty's stayed on the ground, he has jumped for the ball there, but Caluori's entire torso is above his head. That is just ridiculous athleticism and I can understand why Sarries have fast-tracked him in and England are interested in training him up - whatever holes might be in his game from youth and inexperience, that is an absolute weapon of a vertical leap.

I don't think Flaherty stopped him catching but we can disagree, it is dangerous though. It's like dan Biggar taking off from miles back and defenders jumping much closer to the ball, they are not intending to injure but it is dangerous, options aren't good.......stand off and see if he catches it

His speed means you can't put some tall donkey opposite him either

I should add he's getting about 2 feet higher than Biggar ever did!!

The way Calouri moves I figured he was that IFW/Telea sort of build, but he looks huge there. Is he quite tall as well then?

6'4 apparently, so he's not short, and has a ridiculous bound on him, like Aukuso-Sualii. Be interesting to see those two in a jump-off.

Played a lot of basketball growing up I believe, probably helped develop that massive leap.
