As did Pearson incidentally but he recovered in time for pre season where by al accounts he likes very good. Kinder also still out.

AvdF still out for Tigers as well, which is frustrating. After seeing him play one half of rugby in the flesh, I'm convinced he's a dark horse for some England caps at loosehead.

Tigers rallied to win 10-8 away to Newcastle. Will Wand hobbling off in the second half the only injury concern there. Debuts for Kofe and Stewart in the front row (starting and as a replacement respectively).
