It's an old, out of form, unfit Irish team

Only 5/15 could be considered to be in form

Doris hasn't played since shoulder surgery etc

How good are lakai and parker?

The Irish backrow is there to be cleaned out, honestly think nz could win by 30 if they click on the day

I get what you mean, but a shoulder direct to the head is red under the current framework, no matter how accidental.

There's about a 100 decisions I could reference this year where that hasn't applied, no more a red than Clarke forearming tommy o brien in the tackle

All Blacks finally showing some actual intent. Maybe we should have DMac and Sititi on from the start?

The match immediately swung when sititi came on and mccloskey went off

Parker at 6 was absolutely anonymous for 60 minutes

As bad a match as you'll see, all blacks bench annihilated Ireland

A result that probably doesn’t reflect the match. ABs were dogshit for 65 minutes. Ireland were not great but better for most of the game, but couldn’t lift at the end.

Gibson-Park had a good game.

This really. NZ still win most of the time, but can't remember the last time they have looked really fluent. Attacking wise probably only the first half of the SA game that they got thumped in.

I know Mackenzie has his flaws but I think they need to move on from Barrett. He is just not the player he was.

Centres is getting interesting.

On the red, I wouldn't have minded a yellow, but was surprised at the shock that it was a red. No arms at all (with less intent and force, but reminded me of some Owen Farrell classics) and direct contact to the head so a red was always on the cards.

Any picks for future of 10? I was impressed by Josh Jacomb during the NPC, how was he in super rugby? Who else is up and coming?

Richie Mounga will be back next year and I suspect he will be starting almost straight away.

Jacomb is good and there are a few other youngsters, but it will be fascinating to see if Reuben Love plays at 10 for the Hurricanes this year. All the skills but played more 15 so far.
