You know what to do. If golf twat or needle thrower or wendyballers get this over an actual World Cup winner it would suck.

McIlroy and Norris will get a lot of the vote I presume. I think McIlroy finally completing his grand slam thing is a bit weak personally compared to the other winners on the list.
Hampton being voted the world's best goalkeeper and saving two pens to help A England win the Euros is a strong contender. Combining individual and team top level awards.
Littler breaking records for youngest darts player to be champion is pretty big as well.
Womens rugby should be taking the team award for a grand slam and world title clean sweep this season. Kildunne has some competition for the main award though.

Only six people ever have won the golf grand slam. That doesn’t scream weak. It’s also a great story of so many near misses and the way he won it was superb both as theatre and sporting excellence under extreme pressure.

He was also integral in an away Ryder Cup win. He’s had some year.
Not sure Kildunne is particularly deserving. As good as she is and was, I feel like we’d have won the World Cup with or without her.
They should certainly win the team award.
