Not sure why we're starting Carr over CCS but otherwise a decent starting XV

No Evans, and not mentioned among the unavailable! Yes! That's what we need.Epaminondas Pules wrote: ↑Fri Dec 12, 2025 3:41 pm HARLEQUINS v AVIRON BAYONNAIS

Re: Harlequins vs Bayonne
Anyone watching this?
Not sure if Quins have been good or if Bayonne are just terrible. They are 5th in the French league so this feels like more evidence that league is a bit shit. Maybe they are testing everyone- no idea.
Murley has been excellent, Cleaves as well. Impressed by Carr at 8. Smith had some lovely touches and assists- playing really well.
Beard and Northmore very dangerous but often lack accuracy.

Quite but then having seen Clermont and Pau at home plus La Rochelle against Leicesters seconds, I’m not particularly impressed there either.

To be fair Bayonne put out a very weak team, with a umber of their kids making debuts.Captainhaircut wrote: ↑Sun Dec 14, 2025 1:50 pm Anyone watching this?
