Good to see the U20s competitive, even if they got edged out in the first two matches.

Exactly. It's just 15 men vs 15 men. They're trying beat us in our backyard and we need to shock them with our intensity from the first second of the match. Scotland showed us how England lose the plot under pressure . . . we need to pressure France.

It'll help if we can keep it at 15 v 15.

Yeah, another thing they should try to maintain. Hope the ref is sympathetic.

Last week we were beaten up. This week they are just running around us. It’s just far too easy.

Our only hope is they lose interest and we can make it respectable.

This isn’t a size thing. Our defence is a joke.

I don’t accept that our players aren’t big enough. We’re just not well organised.

Better from the tick off and what a difference keeping the ball and working at pace makes.

That's better. Scored a try and forced an error from the kick off.

I'm starting to think relegation might be inevitable. We're just not competitive at this level anymore. There is not a team in the 6N where I have any confidence in getting a result against.

Look on the bright side, we're playing better than the half time "entertainment" is singing... No idea who she is but she sounds like a third rate pub singer, the kind of voice to sing at Del Boys wedding

That half wasn't actually unwatchable, unlike the last four.

Last week we were a terrible side, playing terribly. Today, we're a terrible side doing our best.

We’ve actually done some good stuff this week. Much better than last week.

But why do we insist on kicking when the tactical position is promising?

The skill levels of the French are much superior across all positions.

Clearly the lesson from the first half of not letting France score early wasnt learned.

Kicking the ball away without a contest is really fucking stupid.

So why do we keep doing it?

And to think 15 minutes ago we we looking at going into half time only 12 points down.

To be fair though, France are miles ahead in terms of pace, skill and awareness.

I wish Tomas Williams was quicker getting the ball away from the breakdown and that the receivers were running onto the ball. We’re too pedestrian compared to the flair of the French.

To keep the French from scoring in the first ten minutes of the second half is a priority. I still see a cricket score, however,

Thanks ref!

We’re trying our own harem sacrum now but with a lower skill set. It does make it more entertaining.

And that’s the 167th time today that our narrow defence has been exposed.

Right, that's it I'm taking the dog for a walk. Perhaps by the time we get back we might have got some respectability back. If we're gone for 4 or 5 years.
