Caroline Aherne - R.I.P.

Post by Galfon »

Mrs. Merton / Royle Family creator moves on to the big green room in the sky.
Just 52 but unlucky with illness in recent years.
Not sure about 'genius' but produced some comedy gold over the years.

You got some better comedy genius of the 70's that doesn't require racist/mysoginistic offence. I'm only asking.

Apol. accepted!..
Plenty of classic stuff of course in every decade.
not sure why that particular one should cause offence. ( flares & kipper ties were a serious matter)
Anyone who worked with Frank Sidebottom gets the thumbs up from me: also link with New Order (ex. hubby) - great times.

The L'pool/ Manc scene in the 90's was a real pleasure. I was watching The La's, Radiohead, Coral, .....it was very cool.
