It almost passed my notice that this competition had started. Does anyone know if this bring in good sponsorship money ..or is it an opportunity to give the sqaud a turn out and blood some youngsters.
I did hunt to see the matches live on TV but nothing. I wonder why not ...surely there must be some interest to see new players ?

The format still confuses the feck out of me. ITV4 showed the highlights the other night.

Regardless of the official view, I think it is very much seen as a second tier tournament to give younger/ fringe plyers a run out. I'm not sure how the attendance figures stack up in comparison to the Pro12, I suspect it keeps the cubs ticking over during the international windows.ALunpg wrote:It almost passed my notice that this competition had started. When it first came out, I remember that all sides took it seriously. The Ospreys and Scarlets did well in the first fee seasons, but thereafter it seemed to become less important.
