Hayseed Dixie
It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

I've got a couple of their albums, and actually saw them live at a festival a while back. They are very accomplished musicians.

They played at the harbour festival in Bristol a couple of years ago and didn't disappoint, plus there was a lot of barbecue food.

In a similar vein but different, I saw a band called Mexrissey last week. Mexicans playing Morrissey and Smiths songs in a Mariachi-rock style (with Spanish lyrics). Surprisingly good show.

They used to drink down the biker bar in Broughton, its on a couple of their videos.
If you like them check out Luther Right and the wrongs
They do a hillybilly version of the Wall which is pretty cool
