Re: Name your predicted squad for Argentina
Just seen this too. Thumbs up from me.
Pleased to see Armand and Wilson replace Haskell and Wood and pleased to see Underhill, Lozowski, Ben Curry, Maunder and Cokanasiga are likely to recover from their injuries.
Devoto replacing Marchant is a sensible one but I'm surprised Schonert got the nod over Ford-Robinson.
Anyone know what happened to Cowan-Dickie? Tough break for him, but Taylor is a good replacement.

Yep - all logical, good changes. Apparently Solomona is being assessed today.
I'm not sure if Beaumont got a knock, but his anonymity in yesterday's game would have put Wilson well ahead in any case.

As I said earlier, Jones doesn't rate Armand. I'm off to the 16/17 predictions thread for a confidence boost.....
Good looking squad, aside from the inclusion of a Samoan winger and no Mark Atkinson.

He's been named in the squad.Lizard wrote:Say "Hello" to Mr Laumape. You'll be seeing him, or at least the "12" on the back of his shirt, for the Hurricanes (and possibly the All Blacks) against the Lions. His long-passing game is not yet a noticeable strength but even Nonu took a while to move past bash, dash and off-load.padprop wrote:It is a strange anomaly in world rugby but there seems to be an absence of talent at 12 for years. Apart from SBW there seems to be no 12 in the world that ticks all the boxes.

I don't know if we've got any real interest in what New Zealand are doing this summer, do we?Lizard wrote:He's been named in the squad.Lizard wrote:Say "Hello" to Mr Laumape. Anyone know when the team is announced? Lozowski is apparently impressing at 12 and running the defensive line, so he's probably a walk-in there.
