Other games
Starting this again on here.
Anyone watching Italy vs England?
Italians doing really well... Just as I was typing that... Interception. Good read there by Joseph.
So last year, Finn Russell takes Biggar out in the air and gets yellow carded by Glen Jackson, gets cited and cops a two week ban. This year, same ref, it's just a penalty. This years ruling is correct, can we safely assume we have now unfucked that law? Or is that law dependent on how dramatic it looks?

McLean didn't milk it and pester the ref to give Haskell a red card.

I'm surprised with his name he didn't get a card himself for dangerous play.

Italy must fancy their chances against us in a few weeks. It's going to be another squeeky arse game.

To be fair, I've been surprised by them this year, I thought they were going to be bobbins.
Then again, I know fuck all about rugby union.
I like their new NSQ flyhalf. Seems to know what he's doing.

Here, in local news, you'll no doubt be happy to hear that I managed to stop the bleeding and didn't die.
It was touch and go for a while though.

V worried about our game Italy. When is it?
I was wondering about Haskell staying on too... It made me go hmmmm
England have looked pretty good today, taken their time, been patient and built scoring chances. Joseph just got his 3rd, good stuff from them, but its all about building the pressure and creating chances so we're fcked.

It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

I was nearly worried mate. In all seriousness you'd have got an ambulance if you'd said there was blood everywhere, I shit you not.Edinburgh in Exile wrote:Shame...OptimisticJock wrote:Tam seems to have been forgotten.

Thanks to Joseph "England are sleeping on a plump plump pillow (in Rome)" whatever that means.

Clinical finishing from England.
Italy genuinely playing well in parts, but finding themselves 9 - 40 down. That's a lesson in scoring from all of the chances you get. International hat trick of try's too. Fair fucks.

Here, see in the build up to this there was a lot of talk about something said about Sextons olds or some such? What was it? Just the usual Eddie Jones bollocks?

Re: Other games
Also, just after I typed that last message, I was laying on my couch being smug, and relaxed into a big stretch... The kind of stretch David Attenborough shows you lions doing... My calf muscle, immediately and with a violent sharpness went into cramp, and in lurching forward to reach for it, I dislocated my shoulder.
The dislocation is a regular thing, but coupled with the cramp it was a disaster... I rolled off the couch onto my bowl of nuts, and flipped my roasting cup of tea all over myself, and just sort of lay there wailing... Covered in tea... And snacks.
The missus, who witness it all just wondered out loud how I made it to this age intact. It's not easy being me Baz.
Reasonable game this.
Next week I'll tell you about the time I got hit in the face by a boomerang that I didn't throw.

Some pace on this game. Ireland doing well to contain this at the moment.
