Team for Argentina
Wales: Hallam Amos; Jonah Holmes, Willis Halaholo, Jonathan Davies, Owen Lane; Callum Sheedy, Kieran Hardy; Nicky Smith, Elliot Dee, Dillon Lewis; Ben Carter, Will Rowlands; Ross Moriarty, James Botham, Aaron Wainwright.
Reps: Ryan Elias, Gareth Thomas, Leon Brown, Josh Turnbull, Taine Basham, Tomos Williams, Jarrod Evans, Nick Tompkins
Pretty consistent. Amos at full back kind of makes sense although Holmes is in great form. Jarrod Evans back which is good for him and ditto Owen Lane. It’s
Not a bad team and I’m quite pleased that Privac hasn’t gone for huge changes.

Re: Team for Argentina
This is a very strong Argentina team which will push you all the way, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if they win. Picking out just a few, Juan Cruz Mallia and Santiago Chocobares were in Toulouse's squad that won both the Top14 and the Champions' League; Matias Moroni, Julian Montoya and Tomas Lavanini were regulars in a much improved Leicester team.
Argentina: Juan Cruz Mallía; Santiago Carreras, Matías Moroni, Jerónimo de la Fuente, Santiago Cordero; Nicolás Sánchez, Tomás Cubelli; Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro, Julián Montoya (capt), Francisco Gomez Kodela, Guido Petti, Marcos Kremer, Pablo Matera, Facundo Isa, Rodrigo Bruni.
Replacements: Facundo Bosch, Facundo Gigena, Santiago Medrano, Tomas Lavanini, Matias Alemanno, Gonzalo Bertranou, Domingo Miotti, Santiago Chocobares.

Is that 12. Davies 13. Halohalo? I thought they both played primarily in the other centre position?

Struggling here, given that they are a man up. Thought the sending off was unlucky.

Shame to miss the kick at the end, but I don’t think Argentina deserved to lose. Game on for next week.

Re: Team for Argentina
Argentina had all the excuses, but it was us who needed them.
We played a little bit of good rugby, but a lot of dull lethargic rugby.
There was a clear contrast between Dillon Lewis and Leon Brown!
Good play again from Jonah Holmes, while Hallom Amos continued to think intelligently.
It could have been worse, and ought to have been better.

We absolutely deserved to lose that. So many errors.
Hopefully we will be better next week after a proper game. We started alright but I wonder if the red card affected our concentration?

Re: Team for Argentina
I thought that they played well at times throughout the game. Hallom Amos, Rowlands, Evans when he came on. Many in this team just need a little time and experience at this level. Argentina are a real side! I honestly thought that they would win! A year or so ago, I had not even heard of some of these boys,,,,Lane looked sharp, Botham is going to be good. Halaholo is an incredible player - any news on his injury? Tomas Williams,,,,should be with the Lions - The first time I saw him was the Georgia game out here in the RWC,,,so good. Carter,,,at 20 is a baby playing in an older man's position and for the most part, doesn't look out of place....And in fairness, so many others...I think the future is looking bright!

Re: Team for Argentina
There is a positive there Webby in many younger players coming through and managing to be competitive. There’s a few faces out there who will be with us for some time. And Argentina are a good team, completely different to last weekend.
Frustratingly we could have won yesterday and against 14 men we should have won, except for some poor composure on key occasions. Something to work on.
Too often as well we seemed to kic aimlessly against 15 men when perhaps keeping the ball in hand would have been a better option.
And to give Argentine credit they defended very well.

Re: Team for Argentina
The main issue for me was the turnovers, we couldn't defend the Argentine counter ruck effectively, there were some good points as well as a lot of things to work on. One thing is for sure and that's we need a goal kicker on the field if Jarrod is playing at 10 as he just isn't there with his goalkicking and his kicks to touch also leave a little to the desire.
