European games

Post by Sandydragon »

So apparently all the postponed games due to covid restrictions will now be classed as nil all draws. I’m guessing the criteria is where national restrictions have prevented sides from travelling rather than individual teams being unable to field teams due to covid tests.

I bet the Scarlets are really pissed off after their game was awarded to the opposition as a 28-0 BP win. European organisers not covering themselves in glory on this one.

It’s becoming a crap cup competition and the organisers really need a hard look again to provide an equitable tournament. How they can award a BP win because a side couldn’t play and then a nil/nil draw for others when every team has been affected one way or another by Covid. It beggars belief!

I’d be surprised if the scarlets haven’t considered legal action. It does seem grossly unfair.

The dragons have once again managed to exceed disappointment levels. Very much second best and never really looked like scoring.

Too many turnovers and I’m struggling to understand what they are actually trying to do. Very aimless play with ball in hand and some of the tackling was criminally poor. We hung in there during the first half but there was only one team playing in the second.
