Champions' Cup 2024/25 - Bath v La Rochelle

Champions' Cup 2024/25 - Bath v La Rochelle

This has the makings of a cracker, although La Rochelle surprisingly lost at home last weekend in the Top14 to bottom side Vannes.
I'm surprised that fly half Hastoy isn't even in the squad and Ihaia West will wear 10. West'll have fellow New Zealander Kerr-Barlow at scrum half.

La Rochelle: 15. Dulin ; 14. Nowell, 13. Seuteni, 12. Danty, 11. Leyds ; 10. West, 9. Kerr-Barlow ; 7. Haddad, 8. Alldritt (cap.), 6. Jegou ; 5. Skelton, 4. Lavault ; 3. Atonio, 2. Latu, 1. Wardi.

16. Lespiaucq, 17. Penverne, 18. Colombe, 19. Douglas, 20. Botia, 21. Berjon, 22. Reus, 23. Thomas.

Bath: De Glanville; Cokanasiga, Redpath, Butt, Muir; Russell, Spencer (capt); Du Toit, Dunn, Stuart, Roux, Ewels, Hill, Pepper, Reid.

Replacements: Annett, Van Wyk, Griffin, Molony, Bayliss, Schreuder, Ojomoh, Coetzee.

If I could watch it, I would. But the move to Premier sports for tv coverage has further eroded my interest in this competition.

Hard same. I can't justify £15.99 for two weekends of matches, especially given the fuckery of the format and the varying levels of interest from the participants.

Same as you guys. I already spend circa £100 a month on various tv subscriptions for the family, just on basic principle I’m not prepared to spend anymore.

Could be a great game though.

I live in Germany and if anyone is interested a streaming website here is showing about six games this weekend with TNT commentary starting with the Bath game tonight.. You would need a VPN i imagine. It's called morethansports tv and it's free. Doesn't cost a a penny. Other than European games they also show three or 4 games a week of the Gallagher premiership.

Definitely glad I didn't pay for Premier Sports. Doing the teamsheets and half the English teams have signalled early that they're not going to bother this weekend!

Anyone got a stream? Can't work out how to get that morethansports thing to actually show me the game rather than give me information that it's showing the game.

If they were a bit less thick bath could have had that. So many stupid penalties when attacking. Got suckered by la Rochelle there

Missed Spencer, and missed the top 2 inches too many times.

Pretty good effort to come back in those conditions

Botia is a massive trump card off the bench
