Club depth for next season
Hi guys.
I'm trying to put together how each squad is looking; so full squads, academy, and pecking order - all that jazz.
If you could give me some feedback, I would like to get this as accurate as possible - so please point out any typos / human error I've made; obvious mistakes in the pecking order or "that guy plays tight head, not loose head" type things.
For the sake of ease – I've used https://all.rugby/tournament/premiership/ to get squad lists, and the same for the summer's transfers (which should be done by now, barring LRZ finding a home, and Newcastle completing their recruitment announcements).
I will continue to edit all of this; and get it as accurate as I realistically can by season's kick-off.
The rules I'm using are that I can only place any player once, and if they cover multiple positions, I'll try to put them in the position I think they'll get most used, which may be their preference, or it may be about squad depth. If an academy player has played more than 20 matches for a daddy-club, or started more than 12, or been capped – then I'm counting them as a senior player.
Cheers; Aidan
ETA: Oh, and brackets are for an academy player who's yet to play for daddy-club

For Tigers to add in brackets are Diamond Ayiehfor and George Marsh. Ayiehfor is a tighthead and Marsh is a backrow, arguably No8 as prime position.

Thank you for both replies - I suspect there's a lot of those I missed, due to copy/paste/reformat error

For Leicester, I wouldn't say Titcombe or McCarthy are academy players - they're both 23, announced as main squad signings, and have been playing adults rugby elsewhere.Which Tyler wrote: ↑Thu Aug 07, 2025 9:01 am Hi guys.

I can't find any evidence that Xavier Valentine is part of the Leicester squad (apart from all.rugby) - he appears to be a Nottingham player that we borrow occasionally for A games, and I can't see any article saying that he's actually signed for us.
Aside from that, excellent work!

For Tigers I think van Der Flier, Allan and J Manz have all been promoted to the senior side as well and out of the development squad.Puja wrote: ↑Thu Aug 07, 2025 1:51 pmFor Leicester, I wouldn't say Titcombe or McCarthy are academy players - they're both 23, announced as main squad signings, and have been playing adults rugby elsewhere.Which Tyler wrote: ↑Thu Aug 07, 2025 9:01 am Hi guys.

Xavier Valentine. What a glorious name. A bit Partridge maybe but damn, I'd love to be able to flash that driver's licence at people

Thanks guys - corrections made.
TBH, academy movements are pretty hard to track if you're not a follower of the specific team, and the names don't mean anything more than that.

I mean, you've done a hell of a job already - we're nitpicking small things rather than pointing out big errors!Which Tyler wrote: ↑Thu Aug 07, 2025 3:43 pm Thanks guys - corrections made.

This might be useful for academy movements: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_2 ... _transfers

Oh FFS
You would have to remind me of that, just AFTER I've updated the original!
I did make a mental note to check AR against that when I was putting it together - and plain forgot

Thanks for putting this together @Which.
It looks accurate for Quins and underlines our concerning lack of depth in most areas of the squad. With Williams’ arrival, I assume Kerrod will be mostly covering loosehead (possibly ahead of Els) but until that’s confirmed by selection, your list looks right.
I’d maybe swap Slevin and Bellamy’s positions. I’d see the former as a 15 who covers 10 and vice versa for the latter.

Re: Club depth for next season
TBH, I dont know enough about Slevin to comment intelligently.
I think Bellamy sees himself as a FH playing FB in order to fit in with England age-grade, but... I don't think he'll make it at FH. He may just at FB.
Aside from that - IMO he's far more likely to get game-time at Quins in the 15 (or 23) shirt.
Having said that, I'm happy to take the word of a fan of each club over my opinion.
