Re: Sarries Vs Bath
Green up against Willis should be worth watching. The Bath youngster has got something about him. Plenty of other tasty match ups.

Re: Sarries Vs Bath
Was that not forward from Earl?
Too far back for TMO though, so "happy" with the try.
Sarries out of the blocks incredibly fast today, and really playing wider than our defence, even without the kicks to the wingers.
Bath need to get hold of the ball for it bit, or this is going to run away from us

Does Arundell ground that BEFORE the try line?

Great aerial battle between Caluori and Arundell. Could even argue Arundell’s come out on top thus far.

Now that was beautiful.
Worried that Spencer was in front of Arundell, but all okay on the replays

Re: Sarries Vs Bath
He's closer to the line than a lot of lineout throwers are, nowhere near the "miles" of Austin.
Could argue he's got his heel on the line, and just shifts his weight forwards fractionally early, just lifting the heel a touch

Arundell has done brilliantly well. I've generally been a bit unimpressed by his aerial work previously, he wasn't weak but not really much more than average. He's been considerably better than average today. Exactly the sort of display Simply Ballkick will want to see.charlesdeboeuf wrote: ↑Sun Nov 30, 2025 3:36 pm Great aerial battle between Caluori and Arundell. Re: Sarries Vs Bath
I think that might be the best I've seen Arundell play.
Only out of position once, when he was penalised for overrunning a high kick... by being bang undeath it.., and getting his hand on the bal.

Despite not playing a huge amount with england he will have been training all the high ball stuff constantly with them and he has always been an elite athlete.

Oh, it's only his brain, not his athleticism that's ever been in doubt.
Positioning, defence, work-ethic, decision making... All of which we're excellent today

How good is Green? He looked pretty special to me today.
Conversely, how ordinary is Van Zyl? I must be missing something.

Re: Sarries Vs Bath
That Bath back row is ridiculous. Bayliss and Green are third choice in their positions. Green excellent though- very promising.
Farrell was excellent today. How he got away with speaking to Ridley like he did particularly when he wasn’t even captain was astounding though. Really weak from Ridley.
Arundell excellent. Ojomoh excellent for winning try. Bath seriously good- missing Pepper, Underhill, Barbeary, Coetzee, Lawrence and Muir today.

Very good, was everywhere! On that showing he’s surely going to be running Barbeary close for a starting spot.
And on Van Zyl, very. Admittedly, he was coming on as an impact sub but the speed and zip brought by Bracken was night and day to what VZ was offering up.

Only caught the 2nd half but i was amazed Ridley didnt tell Farrell to button it.Captainhaircut wrote: ↑Sun Nov 30, 2025 5:39 pm That Bath back row is ridiculous. Bayliss and Green are third choice in their positions. Green excellent though- very promising.

I did highlight Green earlier in the thread and he's certainly one to watch.

It's surely only a matter of time before Bracken takes that starting 9 shirt. I was hoping he'd have done so already but Sarries do like their experienced players.charlesdeboeuf wrote: ↑Sun Nov 30, 2025 5:53 pmVery good, was everywhere! Green looks a cracking 8, hopefully be in the England A side before long.
