So it's been voted through, thank feck. It's not what any newport supporter really wants, but it's better than the alternative. I was a bit concerned last week that the vote would fail, particularly with some very vocal people suggesting that it was all a stitch up. Hopefully we can build and be a credible team.

It is good news that the clubs will continue...but ..the big issue is the pitch...since Newport FC stayed up any idea what the plans are ?

Who knows? I know that the use of certain artificial pitches is not allowed by the FA, but does that cover all varieties of artificial or hybrid pitches?ALunpg wrote:It is good news that the clubs will continue...but ..the big issue is the pitch...since Newport FC stayed up any idea what the plans are ?
Its a major issue that needs addressing and I wonder if it will become pressing enough to tell Country to find alternative location. That said, other pitches with normal grass manage perfectly well with decent drainage.

Part of the WRU improvement plan includes a new pitch.

Desso hybrid grass like what the Swans/Os have so will be fine for COunty to continue to use
