So it's been voted through, thank feck. It's not what any newport supporter really wants, but it's better than the alternative. I was a bit concerned last week that the vote would fail, particularly with some very vocal people suggesting that it was all a stitch up. Hopefully we can build and be a credible team.

It is good news that the clubs will continue...but ..the big issue is the pitch...since Newport FC stayed up any idea what the plans are ?

Who knows? I know that the use of certain artificial pitches is not allowed by the FA, but does that cover all varieties of artificial or hybrid pitches?

Its a major issue that needs addressing and I wonder if it will become pressing enough to tell Country to find alternative location. That said, other pitches with normal grass manage perfectly well with decent drainage.

£75k investment in a hybrid pitch

WRU not going to underwrite any losses so expect them to continue to be shit.

Part of the WRU improvement plan includes a new pitch.

Desso hybrid grass like what the Swans/Os have so will be fine for COunty to continue to use
